Other Meetings Certainly, meetings and conferences go on all the time. There's probably one going on right now. But we'll concentrate on only a few that deal directly with chestnuts in various forms. Right now, there's two in this category. Restoration of the American Chestnut to Forest Lands - (under construction) Detailing a conference held in Asheville, NC from May 4-6, 2004 between TACF, the National Park Service, and concerned scientists. New Jersey! - yes, we're trying to invade New Jersey. Believe it or not, New Jersey has a lot of chestnuts, and we're working to find them and use them in our breeding program.
